Agents Compete for Top Prize
Over 60 leading London, regional and local commercial property agents competed in this year’s Kings Hill Cup golf tournament which was held at the development’s 18-hole PGA championship course.
Now in its seventh year, the tournament is an established fixture for the Office Agents Society and was hosted by Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust UK Ltd and its letting agents CB Richard Ellis, Knight Frank and Edwin Hill.
First prize went to Tom Luck of Acorn Commercial – based at Kings Hill – with 21 points, who was presented with the silver Kings Hill Cup, a golfing jumper and a magnum of champagne.
Kevin Mersh of Nelson Bakewell came second with 20 points and John Barker of Matthews Goodman came third, also with 20 points. They each won a golfing jumper and magnum of champagne.
The two nearest the pin were Will Gelder of Donaldsons and John Barker of Matthews Goodman. The grand prize draw for £1000 of American Express travel vouchers went to Jonathan Broome of Maxwell Brown.
“The event was an informal way of getting the leading commercial property agents together to show them what is available at Kings Hill and brief them on our plans for the future,” said Caroline Binns, Associate Director, Marketing & Leasing for Liberty Property Trust UK Ltd.
“We outlined our plans for the next phase of development, which includes a cluster of self contained office buildings which will be available on a flexible tenure basis. The total area of these buildings will be 70,000 – 80,000 sq ft net and they will be set in a prime location bordered by ancient woodland with spectacular views over the countryside.”
The 6,600 yard par 72 Kings Hill Golf Club is set in 200 acres of undulating terrain featuring large areas of protected heath and mature woodland. The light and airy colonial style clubhouse is a focal point of Kings Hill for both the business and the residential communities.
