Moses receives £1,000 prize for top Kings Hill ‘Christmas house’ from BBC’s Geoff Clark

A first prize of £1,000 was presented by competition judge Geoff Clark, from BBC South East, to proud residents Moses and Jo Johnson, of 6 Bovarde Avenue, for the best decorated ‘Christmas house’ in the village of Kings Hill, Kent. Moses and Jo’s winning house included snow matting, a snow blower, a life-size nativity scene, and a wonderful selection of seasonal decorations. 

Fellow residents Raymond and Lynn Norton, of 46 Lapins Lane, won the second prize of £500 and near neighbours to the winners, Ian and Julie Muir, of 7 Bovarde Avenue, won the third prize of £250 which they presented to Leukaemia Research in memory of the late Diane Batson of the Kings Hill Dry Cleaners.

Joining Geoff Clark were fellow judges, Charlton Athletic star, Robbie Elliot and Andrew Blevins, Managing Director of developers, Liberty Property Trust (UK).
