Location, Location, Location
Locate in Kent, the county’s inward investment promotion agency which helps companies find business premises in Kent and Medway, has moved to new offices at Kings Hill, near Maidstone.
It has taken 1,581 sq ft in 35 Kings Hill Avenue and its 13 staff have moved into the new office. It previously occupied premises in 2 Kings Hill Avenue.
‘We assist companies, including local businesses, to relocate, expand, or set up in the county. We are pleased to be recommitting to Kings Hill which has been the location for the agency for more than ten years,’ said Paul Wookey, chief executive of Locate in Kent.
‘All our other contact details remain the same and we are looking forward to continuing a successful year from our new offices.’
Kings Hill is an established mixed use development and home to a range of established corporates, a 90,000 sq ft David Lloyd fitness centre, an 18-hole PGA golf course, a supermarket and a range of other retail outlets, as well as a thriving residential community with around 6,000 residents.
‘We are delighted that Locate in Kent is remaining at Kings Hill,’ said Andrew Blevins, managing director of Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust UK Ltd. ‘The agency does an excellent job attracting companies to the region, bringing jobs and new skills.
‘Our location just off the motorway network provides easy access to the rest of the county as well as to London and Europe and this, coupled with the high quality environment, makes Kings Hill one of the most popular business locations in the South East.’
