Key young London office agents were invited to Kings Hill, near Maidstone, to find out what the business park has to offer for the companies for whom they act.
Agents from leading London practices Jones Lang Lasalle, GVA Grimley, Doughty Baines, Montagu Evans and DTZ toured the 800 acre mixed-use community’s business, residential and amenity areas and viewed available space.
Afterwards the agents challenged one another to a game of golf on the development’s 18-hole course which covers 200 acres of mature woodland and protected heath.
George Radford of GVA Grimley, who won the golf, said: “Kings Hill has a sustainable balance of commercial and residential development, supported by impressive amenities and leisure facilities plus the range of office space available offers great flexibility for occupiers.”
The event was organised for his peers by Henry Wyld of Knight Frank, joint agents on the development with Altus Edwin-Hill and Hanover Green.
“It’s a tough office market at the moment and we wanted to invite the ‘new generation’ of agents to Kings Hill so they can see what the business park has to offer their clients,” said Andrew Blevins, managing director of Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust UK Ltd.
“As Kings Hill has been in development for 20 years, established agents are well aware of the business park, but we have to be pro-active and by targeting new, up-and-coming agents we are spreading the word to a new generation of property advisers.”
