Record sales at Kings Hill
House sales at Kings Hill have hit the highest level since 2007 according to the latest report from the Land Registry.
Last year there were 246 property transactions on the development, the highest number during any 12-month period for the last six years.
Sales are very promising for this year too – in the first quarter (January to March) there were 46 property transactions at Kings Hill, which is 15% higher than during the same period last year and the highest figure since 2010. The report added that sales at Kings Hill are picking up faster than in adjoining post codes.
Kings Hill is being developed as a contemporary garden village, which has been carefully masterplanned to provide residents with all the amenities necessary for day to day living, including shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. There is also a business park offering job opportunities within walking distance as well as serviced office space which is useful for smaller companies that don’t want their office in the home.
“This is fantastic news and testament not only to the quality of the properties on offer at Kings Hill but their setting in a sustainable, beautifully landscaped, live work and play community,” said Andrew Blevins, managing director of Kings Hill masterplanner Liberty Property Trust UK.
The new homes at Kings Hill are being marketed by Kings Hill New Homes, which includes Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust UK Ltd and house builders developing on site at any one time – currently Bellway Homes, Crest Nicholson and Hillreed Homes.
The three new developments at Kings Hill feature properties to suit all tastes and budgets.
Bellway’s ‘Signature’ is a collection of seventy-six properties - two, three, four and five bedroom homes with prices currently ranging from £325,995 - £540,995. The Monroe is the perfect starter home for a young family and has been specifically designed with those needs in mind, The Hepburn has attractive weatherboard cladding and spacious accommodation and The Kelly overlooks the cricket pitch. The new sales centre is on Discovery Drive and the Hepburn show home is now open.
Crest Nicholson’s ‘Woodland Place’ is a development of two and three bedroom cottages and four and five bedroom homes. Located in an exclusive enclave on the periphery of Kings Hill, Woodland Place comprises an array of house styles including mews, semi-detached and detached properties, reflecting the broad demand present in the local area. Currently available are four bedroom houses priced from £435,000.
Hillreed is launching ‘The Poppies’, a development of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, all of which are new designs to Hillreed’s portfolio. The external treatment and internal layout of these new designs are very exciting, living space has been carefully considered and will include a combination of open plan accommodation as well as more traditional layouts. All properties come with parking and carbarns and are in an ideal location just off of Beacon Avenue, with some homes facing out onto a central open space.
