Alfresco Events launches Kings Hill’s first open air cinema this summer

Kings Hill is to have its very first open-air cinema screening on Friday, August 12 at Kings Hill Sports Park.  Showing a classic film, Dirty Dancing, this will be a fantastic opportunity for people to come and enjoy an evening of film ‘Alfresco’ style.

The evening begins at 6.30pm, with the film screening starting at 8.45pm. Food and drink will be available before and during the film from carefully selected vendors, creating the perfect atmosphere to sit back, relax and enjoy the film under the stars.

The event is being organised by Alfresco Events, which was launched this year by Joanna Hillcock and Lucy Cumming, local event planners and residents of Kings Hill. 

“We are really excited about this event and the response so far has been fantastic,” said Joanna. “ We are working hard to create an unforgettable experience for all who join us at Kings Hill’s first open air cinema!.

“We have been extremely lucky to have on board some fantastic sponsors, including Kings Hill developer Liberty Property Trust and Bespoke Swimming Pools, who are based in Kings Hill.

“Early bird tickets to the event went on sale on 1st April 2016 and already the event has created a huge buzz on social media, with tickets selling like hot cakes in our first week, proving how popular it is.“
